White Shakshuka Base
A gentle, creamy vegetable base rich in calcium and healthy fats, designed as a versatile foundation for early meals and perfect for introducing new textures as babies grow.
Ingredients: Olive oil, leek or onion, garlic, zucchini, Greek yoghurt or ricotta, nutmeg, frozen spinach
Allergens: Dairy, egg (optional)
Texture:
· 6–8 months: Smooth purée
· 8–10 months: Soft mash
· 10–12 months: Thick, spoonable base
Fridge: 3 days | Freezer: 3 months
Reheating/Cooking: Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, stirring well and checking temperature before serving. Add an egg once the base has been cooked (optional)
