Tuna, Tomato & Lentil Risotto

A gently flavoured, iron-rich risotto designed to support growing babies through key developmental stages. Red lentils and tuna provide high-quality protein and iron for brain development, while tomato adds vitamin C to support iron absorption. Arborio rice creates a naturally creamy texture without added cream, making this a nourishing, balanced meal.

Ingredients: Tuna, tomato, red lentils, arborio rice, onion, carrot, olive oil, vegetable stock, cheese (optional)

Allergens: Fish, Dairy (if cheese used)

Texture

  • 6–8 mths: Smooth purée, thinned with water or stock as needed

  • 8–10 mths: Thick mash with very soft rice and lentils

  • 10–12 mths: Soft, scoopable risotto with visible grains

Fridge: 3 days | Freezer: 2 months

Reheating / Cooking: Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, stirring well and adding water or stock to loosen. For frozen portions, thaw overnight in the fridge or reheat directly from frozen until piping hot, then cool before serving.
