Baby Basil Pesto Pasta Sauce

A green pesto providing iron from spinach and pine nuts, antioxidants from basil, fibre and vitamin C from zucchini, and monounsaturated fats from olive oil to support energy needs and nutrient absorption, with optional parmesan contributing calcium and protein.

Texture

  • 6–8mths: Fully smooth puree

  • 8–10mths: Thick spoonable sauce

  • 10–12mths: Soft pesto with fine texture

Fridge: 3 days | Freezer: 3 months

Reheating/cooking: Stir through warm pasta, rice, or vegetables; add water or milk to loosen as needed.
