Lentil and Pumpkin Curry

A nourishing, plant-based curry packed with iron-rich red lentils, beta-carotene from pumpkin, and a wide range of vegetables to support growth and immune health. Coconut milk adds healthy fats to aid nutrient absorption and energy needs in babies, while gentle spices introduce flavour without heat. A satisfying, fibre-rich meal suitable for all stages of the first year.

Ingredients: Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Pumpkin, Mixed vegetables, Red lentils, Coconut milk, Tinned tomatoes, Coconut oil, Curry powder, Turmeric

Texture:

  • 6–8 months: Smooth blended purée

  • 8–10 months: Thick mash with soft lumps

  • 10–12 months: Soft chunky mash (well-cooked vegetables and lentils)

Fridge: 3 days | Freezer: 3 months

Reheating/Cooking: Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave until steaming hot, stirring well and allowing to cool before serving. Add a splash of water or breastmilk/formula if needed to loosen texture.
